Tea Ceremony Wedding at Ritz Carlton Millenia
Tea Ceremony Wedding
The day started with a beautiful sunny day at Ritz Carlton Millenia capturing Cindy doing her makeup, and some shots of the details, such as the ring, wedding outfits, cakes and etc. Cindy and Steven are a friendly and hospitalizes couple where they always asking whether I need a drink or food. Their wedding is an intimate wedding with a tea ceremony with their close friends and relatives right inside their hotel room. Cindy told me that it was really rare for their families and relatives to come together as most of them are resided in oversea. As it was their wedding, all of them made a special arrangement to fork out time to attend their wedding. With such a rare opportunity, Cindy asked me to focus a lot on the group shots. After the tea ceremony, they had some prayer sessions where one of their relatives spoke a simple message about what is love based in the bible. It closed off with a beautiful prayer for their marriage. We ended have some group photos inside the hotel room and head to a Chinese restaurant for their lunch.
After their lunch, we went to Registry of Marriage for their wedding solemnization. I captured their wedding vows, the ring exchange, signing of the marriage certificate, and beautiful smile from the couple and their guests. After the wedding solemnization, I brought Cindy & Steven to Fort Canning for some casual couple shoot. Cindy was very humorous that she gave a name for every pose I gave to them. We really had a great time during the photoshoot session. They told me that they rarely take any photograph and I’m glad that I had captured photographs with their natural emotions and personality during their wedding and outdoor shoot. At the end of the photoshoot, they gave me a box of chocolates wrapped with a thank you message on it. It was really sweet of them.
Thank you to Cindy & Steven for letting me be part of your special day as your wedding photographer, it really was a pleasure to capture it for you and I wish you and your family all the best for the future.
